1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Diagnostic answers. The free diagnostic runs in your browser. Your answers and scores are not sent to us unless you submit the "Email me this plan" form.
- Email sign-ups. If you submit an email form, we receive your email address, the exam you selected, your diagnostic score and domain scores (if any), the weeks until your exam you selected, your consent, and the page you used.
- Preorders. Purchases are processed by Gumroad as merchant of record, under Gumroad's own privacy policy. Gumroad shares with us your email address, your name and country (if provided), what you bought, the amount, and the payment and refund status. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us, such as refund requests or error reports.
- Campaign tags. If you arrive through a link with campaign tags (utm_source and similar), your browser keeps them for that tab only (session storage, no cookies) and passes them to Gumroad when you click a preorder button, so we can see which page or campaign led to a preorder.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
3. How we use it
- To send the study plan you asked for and emails about TrueLine Prep (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To process preorders, refunds, and launch access.
- To answer your messages and fix reported errors.
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal bases are your consent (marketing emails), performance of a contract (preorders and refunds), our legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention), and legal obligations (record keeping).
4. Who processes it for us
- Gumroad — checkout, payments, receipts, sales tax/VAT, and refunds (as merchant of record)
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- — email sign-up forms and emails
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. The operator is based in Japan. Where required, we rely on the providers' standard safeguards for international transfers.
5. How long we keep it
- Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If we cancel the product, we delete the list within 90 days after the last refund.
- Preorder and refund records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Messages: as long as needed to handle your request.
6. Your choices and rights
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop using it, by emailing . Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK, California, or Japan), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
7. Children
TrueLine Prep is for adults preparing for professional certification exams. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to personal information to what is needed to run the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
